See historical railway cars from the countries three biggest railways, and everything related to them. On long weekends, visitors can ride on a train pulled by a steam engine for $1.

Located at the Leduc #1 Discovery Well, the Interpretive Centre offers guided tours of over 12,000 square ft of scale models, murals & equipment. Outside you can climb onto the floor of a 1940s drilling rig & view our Jack-Knife & Cable Tool Rigs.
We are open 9am-5pm daily to the general public, tour bookings and school groups from April 15 - September 15. Winter season by appointment and Sundays 11am-4pm

C & E Railway Museum

This museum, in a replica of the Strathcona Railroad Station building built in 1891, displays many historical railway artifacts relating to the railway line between Calgary and Edmonton.

This museum is inside a restored 1905 brick school house. It takes you back early school days, using restored classrooms with exhibits illustrating the history of Edmonton Public Schools. Beside the museum is the first public school built in Alberta, also designated a Provincial Historic Resources.
Open: 12:30 - 4:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, 12:30 - 9 p.m. Wednesdays, 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. Sundays from April through October, closed holiday weekends

This is Canada's largest historical park, including the Hudson's Bay fort plus more than 70 period buildings (for the 1880s, around 1905, and 1920s) complete with period-costumed staff. Train and streetcar rides are free with admission.
