Homes: Lymburn, Callingwood, Ormsby
This community is on the west side of 170th Street and south of Whitemud Drive is still convenient to West Edmonton mall, without the traffic hassles. It is also convenient to the city's south end via Whitemud Drive. While Callingwood, Lymburn and Donsdale Park are older and more established, there is new home construction is happening in West Lymburn and Lymburn Point. This area offers relatively affordable housing, compared to the exclusive developments to the east and south. Schools This community has three public elementary schools and two Catholic elementary schools, though the high schools for both boards are a bus ride away. Shopping There is a small shopping plaza in the middle of Callingwood. Retailing in the area is dominated by West Edmonton Mall (the world's largest, with 800 stores & services) to the west, though the smaller Meadowlark Park (to the east) is popular for the speed of getting in & out. Recreation West Edmonton Mall, about a mile to the north of the community dominates area recreation. There are three multiplex cinemas, and indoor amusement park (the world's largest), a wave pool and waterslide (the world's largest), indoor mini golf, and lots more, all surrounded by (the world's largest) parking lot. There is a YMCA recreational facility in the middle of the community. The prestigious Edmonton Country Club is on the eastern edge of the community overlooking the River Valley Community Map
